Walk In Investigators…The Book!

One of our members, Joyce Kostakis has written her first book, a Paranormal Detective Mystery, and it’s got a Supper Club Connection…the psychic development group is based on our own Traveling Psychic Supper Club – and it’s available literally everywhere.  Kindle, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, even Austin’s very own Bookpeople…see the photo – it’s on their best seller table!

This is a great read with lots of wonderful twists and turns, and has been very well accepted.  If you like mysteries, are drawn to the paranormal, want to check out some real life experiences that Joyce drew from (that I personally can attest to), check it out.  This book is also a great way to learn about “real life” paranormal experiences with straight forward language, real experiences from real people, not “out there” metaphysical types, but down to earth people using their psy skills in real life.

Send any comments for Joyce my way, and if you like it, there’s great news – this is the first book in a series.

You many even recognize the woman on the cover…  😉  to see more about the book on Goodreads, click the pic below.  Coming soon, an interview with me and Joyce.  Although the Traveling Psychic Supper Club group that met monthly has been put to bed, I guess we’ll be forever immortalized in print!

BEETLEJUICE, GHOST, Story Share – We’re just getting started for OCTOBER

Hello Again and Happy Almost October!

So much great stuff is going on with TPSC – Let’s get right to it!

First, if you are local – and want to be involved here in AUSTIN – check out the Meetup group –

http://www.meetup.com/Traveling-Psychic-Supper-Club/ a lot of times I post things there that don’t make it to the website… We’ve got some movies coming up and –

We are having a Story Share tomorrow night – Tuesday October 1 from 7-9 pm at Mindful Body Center.  This is the start of an ongoing meeting for people to come share, connect and learn about themselves through stories.  We can learn so much about ourselves by listening to other people’s stories…if you have been carrying around your own story for years, this is a great place to come, share, and let it go.  Anything can happen.  You can RSVP at the meetup page – http://www.meetup.com/Traveling-Psychic-Supper-Club/events/206378942/.  I hope you’ll join us!

Really getting into October – I’m partnering with Flix Brewhouse again for a couple of movies this time…

GHOST on October 8 – Seating/Preshow at 7:00pm – Purchase tickets on line / get there early!

Ok Ghost is a little Girly for me, but I’ve had a recent psychic experience – where a spirit LITERALLY would not leave me alone – so now I can totally relate to Whoopie Goldberg’s charater – Oda Mae Brown…

We’ll have a little psychic discussion before and after the movie – AND it’s HALF PRICE BOTTLES of WINE NIGHT!  We’ll have another psychic Checklist made especially for this show that you can take home with you. (Courtesy of KELLY again! – he did a great job on the one for Poltergeist!)  Check out Flix Brewhouse to get tickets, this is a one time event, I hope you’ll join us!  Tickets are $5.  You can get them here – http://www.flixbrewhouse.com/flix-brewhouse/events/event-detail?event=ghost

Now on to….beetlejuice

BEETLEJUICE is October 22 at 7:00pm – This one will sell out!  Get tickets online early for sure and get there early!

We’ll be looking at the movie from the perspectives of Lydia Deetz – why can she see the Maitlands when no one else can, and we’ll talk about Beetlejuice himself – the original BIOEXORCIST.  Have you ever had a ghost in YOUR house?  We’ll have a checklist for this movie too!  Let’s look at life on the other side…and have some fun….It’s SHOWTIME – the ticket for this show comes with a Tim Burton Pint Glass – tickets are $7 – to purchase tickets: http://www.flixbrewhouse.com/flix-brewhouse/events/event-detail?event=Beetlejuice

That’s not all for October, but I wanted to post these events since tickets are already for sale online.  I hope you are having an amazing autumn, does anyone have big plans for Halloween?

WELCOME OCTOBER….AND NEW FALL DINNERS

Hello again, it’s the best month of the year and I’ve finally got the fall dinners up on the site!

GREAT NEWS – for those of you who have been trying to get into a dinner but they are always full, we are doing a couple of bigger dinners – Halloween is going to be AMAZING – at Clay Pit, in a private room.  Sometimes we have issues with not being able to hear due to background restaurant noise now that the dinner have gotten bigger.  But at Clay Pit we will be in the Wine Room which is really beautiful and best of all – PRIVATE!  So I’m gonna kick it up a notch and make this dinner a costume affair.  Oh, yes and by the way, of course….Clay Pit is rumored to be supremely HAUNTED….

I hope Kirby will still show up, costumes AND Indian food may be too much for him but I hope not since I haven’t seen him in a while….   😉

So that’s all for now, I’m keeping this one short and sweet.  A lot has been going on, but I’ll write about that next time…for now-

HAPPY OCTOBER – Hope to see you soon!
