A Video Tarot Reading

For the last 3 years I’ve been saying I wanted to start doing videos.  This is the first attempt and it’s a simple tarot reading I did a while back.  My plans – after working on the TPSC sizzle reel – which never became a reality tv show -which I am grateful for – that it never became a show and for the experience – I kept feeling drawn to YouTube, I felt like “I have to do this my way”.  So here is the first video.

If you have any thoughts I really would love to hear them.  I  want to get better at making videos.  I have lots of ideas of just fun stuff I want to do.  Interviews are next, and I’ll keep throwing readings on here too.   Continue reading “A Video Tarot Reading”

WE ARE HEROES

NBC is bringing Heroes back.   Who isn’t stoked?  The show that captured so many people’s attention – the struggle between good and evil, the outsiders against the secret government agency that’s looking to wipe them out  behind the facade that they pose SUCH a threat to others when actually it’s the threat to the status quo that if they band together and succeed will be destroyed.  Heroes.  YEAH.  So let’s all sit back on our couches again and watch, and for an hour have something stir in us….until next week!

FORGET THAT.

We keep eating the same spoonful over and over again.  Hollywood delivers it to us neatly packaged – with drama, excitement, some explosions, a little humor and for an hour in our homes, or two in the theater – or 8 if you binge watch Netflix…they set up franchises around the heroes that we all love – Star Wars, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Heroes, Walking Dead….Divergent…..Transformers….Interstellar.  The average Joe.  I don’t need to go on here, you get it.  There’s a hero in all of us.  Well, on screen anyway.  Buy the ticket, head to Comic Con…but there’s so much more – if you just look for it.  And it’s not out there, it’s all IN HERE.

There are real heroes inside of each of us.  Those heroes is WHO these shows and movies speak to.  There are those of us living these lives for real, just like in the shows and movies all around you.  We are connecting and developing.  We are not better, we just listened to that inner voice, got tired of the bullshit, refused the marketing and WOKE UP.   I know people all over the world  who are accessing exactly WHO THEY ARE – and we are coming together.   Real REGULAR people who woke up one day and said, “this is no longer enough…there is something ELSE and I’m going to find it.”  And they do.  We do.  We find each other.  Just like in the shows…the right people JUST SHOW UP.  When you move the blocks that are in the way – Need, Want, Drama, Caring what everyone else thinks….Man, your people show up.  And we are accessing and strengthening  a web that EVERY single person is a part of.  We are all gifted in our own way.  Each person has…something, or many things.  What’s your thing?  What is that thing you do?

Can you read people right away?  Do you just “get” ideas without the need to have them explained?  Do people feel comfortable enough with you, even standing in line at the grocery store – that they tell you their life story, then say, “wow, I don’t know why I  just told you all that.”  These are the little pieces that show up in real life, the string that leads to the bigger ball if you follow it.  We each have an end to a string that leads us to that bigger ball.  If you don’t let the mind get in the way – “that’s crazy” – “who do you think you are?  You’re no one special” – “Why did I think I could do that,  that’s silly”.  NO IT’S NOT.  You know it deep inside.  Your HERO knows it.  We all have something “special” we all have our “it” that connects us to another hero.  Don’t believe me?

I know people within my own group that communicate through telepathy and entrainment.

I know empaths that can feel other people’s emotions down to the core – within seconds.

There are people who can heal by proxy – meaning they draw pained people to them, to heal without even knowing the source of the wound.

Some of us see premonitions and remote view.

Some of us work world puzzles over and over again in our minds, seeing different outcomes, putting energies towards the most peaceful end.

Some of us simply hold space for the others doing the more intricate work.

Personally, because I have little memory of my own am able to access other people’s memories through the 5th dimension – and go back to a time where they experienced something incorrectly, which changed the trajectory of their entire future life.  I can’t explain how but I see and feel every emotion around the entire scene, by everyone involved.  Together we make the adjustment that brings them back to the way they are meant to be, we correct the incorrect experience, and bring them back into line of who they are truly are.  You don’t have to believe me, your mind, your ego will not.  But your HERO does.  Your hero already knows.  Right now your hero is working the puzzle in sped up time like a Rubik’s Cube.  You are already remembering all the things – those moments where something happened and you were like, “huh – what was that?”  Put those pieces together.  They are real.  I’m here to tell you, because I am living it every day that THIS IS REAL.  WE ARE ALL HEROES.  Some of us just forgot.

I’m not here to prove it, you already know.  I’m not here to impress you with me, I’m here to impress you with you.  Who is your HERO?  To some what we do is Supernatural.

But when you connect with your HERO what was SUPERNATURAL becomes super natural.  Join us.  Be who you were born to be.

Last month we had Ethiopian which was…an experience!  Everyone had a good time, we had a laid back and casual conversation, mostly about the food and how to eat it!  Here are some pics – Habesha was quiet for a while, but then it got crazy loud so we had to leave – especially for those of us that are very sensitive to sound…  About the food, the salad was cool and refreshing and DELICIOUS!  The food ranged from spicy to WHOA!  Everything comes out in these little blogs on the plate and you use the spongy bread (which has a bit of a sour taste) to pick it up.  It’s messy, it’s funny, it’s an experience.  We had fun – I’d go back, but not sure about everyone else…anyone else want to share your experience?  So that’s Habesha.  If you haven’t been to a dinner in a while, we’d love to see you again.  If you know of anyone else who would like to join us, please help us spread the word.  We are working at growing the Supper Club and getting the word out that EVERYONE is psychic, intuitive, or whatever you want to call it.  We are open.  And we are HUNGRY!

Mother’s Cafe, NDEs – Looking forward to March but not SXSW

February’s dinner was at Mother’s Cafe – a REALLY popular vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the Hyde Park area that gets pretty packed on Saturday nights, although it’s got a great comfortable vibe about it that doesn’t make you feel rushed or packed together like sardines.  On Saturday evenings they have live music, which when the guy showed up we all thought, OH NO – because we were afraid it was going to be loud, but on that night it was chill he played a xylephone type instrument that was made of wood.  Lovely background noise that is still easy to hear each other over.

If you go to Mothers – and you should – I HIGHLY recommend the Cheese Enchiladas with Verde Sauce.  Very Delicious!  Susan and Miranda got the Spinach Lasagna, which was huge and they said very tasty.  Kelly got Nachos which was also huge and very good.  I got a spice cake to go and that was nice and moist with great flavor.  SO – Mother’s Cafe – Tasty vegan/vegetarian, large portions, lovely atmosphere.  Try it.

NOW – ON TO THE CONVERSATION

bonnieandclyde

Susan brought a book about Bonnie and Clyde named Bonnie and Clyde: The Lives Behind the Legend by Paul Schneider – which you can read a timeline and the first 20 pages here – look for the free sample button next to the book.  She read it last year, and was surprised to learn that Clyde himself had a Near Death Experience.  That led us to a whole discussion on “coming back” to do good or bad.  Which lead to a discussion on free will, and how, interestingly, Bonnie and Clyde provided a diversion for the country during the dismal days of the Depression.

Sara brought a book too, named The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson.  You can learn about that book here.  This book discusses something we all within the group know to be true – that you can hold emotions in your body and that doing so can lead to illness.  We discussed how past emotional traumas can be held in the body as well, causing weaknesses that can lead to injuries.  We had a lengthy discussion about body work since some of the members of the group practice Reiki and other body work.  We talked about different experiences we’ve had while giving and receiving Reiki, and how basic energy work can lend itself to overall strengthening of psychic abilities.  Good stuff.

Our next dinner will be at Habisha and we’ll be enjoying Ethiopian food together.  Ethiopian is different, there are no utensils and you pick everything up with this interesting bread.  If you’ve never had it, Habisha is some of the best!  The topic for discussion will be Channeling – and the different ways people channel, some people may be surprised to learn there are many different ways…some channel with Angels, some with Spirit Guides, others tap into energy and the actual person or event they are reading.  The next dinner is available online if you would like to check it out here, like I mentioned we’ll be steering WAY CLEAR of SXSW and Downtown.  So if you are looking for an interesting way to spend your Saturday night, minus the headache of finding parking, crowds, overall drunken foolishness – and would like to join us instead, you are invited!

Speaking of Channeling, on Traveling Psychic Supper Club Radio this week (3/27/14) we’ll be interviewing local Austin Psychic Jo Todd, who channels Invisible Presence Isaiah.  TPSC Radio is LIVE every Thursday at 5:00pm Central on www.paramaniaradio.com.  We welcome call ins at (919) 295-0150, have a chat room available during the show, and love to hear from listeners.  If you miss the show it’s always available afterwards on demand here.  If you have a show idea we would love to hear from you too!  You can always email me at deborah@travelingpsychicsupperclub.com.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, feel free to leave a question or comment, and if you are in Austin for SXSW, be careful and have fun!

Epicerie Dinner – and Summer’s here…

I honestly can’t believe how much time passes between dinners so quickly.  It’s already almost a month since the May dinner at Epicerie which in my mind’s eye marked the end of the media whirlwind of filming, reporters, cameras and the like…for now.  So I’m looking forward to a laid back summer, laid back dinners, and a getting back to basics for the Traveling Psychic Supper Club.  But  before I get ahead of myself, here’s a quick review of the May dinner at Epicerie.

The top reason to go to Epicerie is the Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies.  I’ve driven across town to get them.  No kidding.  They are amazing.  The place is small and quaint, with an additional outdoor area.  We had chosen it because there is a small area off to the side,  that was set away from the main dining area, which would have been perfect for our group but due to some reasons we found out upon arriving the night of the dinner we weren’t able to use that space.  UGH.  So we ended up in one long table smack dab in the middle of the restaurant.  Which for the purposes of what we needed pretty much sucked.   For one thing when Epicerie is full it’s really really LOUD.  Even more so for those of us that are Clairaudiant – it’s like every person in the restaurant is screaming right into both of your ears.  Not great for conversation…This is becoming a bigger and bigger problem for me…if anyone has ANY ideas for how to deal with loud background noise I’d love to hear them.  Really.  Short of wearing earplugs everywhere I’m at a loss.  Sorry that was a little tangent…

The food at Epicerie is good.  Almost everyone got an asparagus salad shown here, not huge, but tasty, and Jennifer shared her Reuben with me, which was really delicious:

Because the table was so long, it was hard to have one conversation, but there were instead 3 little conversations going on at once.  This was not great, but a few of us did some seat hopping, and joined a few different conversations here and there.  Ideally we have one big conversation, but the space and noise simply did not allow for it.  The phrase of the past few months has been “It is what it is” and that totally applied here.  Some of the conversations included the Tarot, reaching kids that seem disconnected, how we all as kids and adults “deal with” and or utilize our psychic abilities, and I heard some past life conversation floating around on the other end of the table…if anyone would like to add any additional information that I’ve left out, please do!  One of the highlights of the evening was Lacey’s birthday cake she made for Miranda, which was a carrot cake, but that doesn’t describe how unbelievably moist the cake was, how creamy the frosting was, or how overall heavenly the “cake experience” was.  You just kind of had to be there.  Here’s a picture:

mirandacakeBefore

cakeAfter

Delicious.

Last but not least, Lacey, Susan and I moved outside and did a couple of readings.  This is NOT usual for a dinner, and because we’re all there to relax we won’t be doing it again…but it felt right so we did it this once.  For the sake of a little quiet it  did afford us  the opportunity to move to the outside area, which was really nice in the evening.  But because we left the dinner table, we missed out on some of the conversation and saying goodbye to some people who left.  So for the future I ask that anyone wanting a reading  please schedule it for a time other than the night of a dinner.  The two readings we did were wonderful, as were the ladies we read, but we left feeling a bit exhausted, so we’ll save readings for another time.  The dinners are simply a time for everyone to connect and support each other and enhance our psychic bonds and abilities.  Or if you like, just to hang out with like-minded people.   Anyone have anything to add?

Giving it Away – Art Of Non-Conformity Challenge Accepted – 2 Free Email Readings

I got an email in my inbox today from Chris Guillebeau, who by a Non-Random Co-Incidence I met yesterday at  Book People in Austin (You can check out the post here:)

http://ifyoucouldseewhatihear.wordpress.com/2013/03/11/sxsw2013-chris-guillebeau-and-the-100-startup-connection/

This email put out a challenge to all the readers of The Art of Non-Conformity to make something that’s worth something available for FREE.  I am meeting the challenge by…giving away 2 FREE BUSINESS RELATED EMAIL READINGS, which are usually $25 apiece.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Here’s how it works: With an email reading you can ask me up to 5 questions related to your business that you would like for me to look at with a “psychic eye”.   If there is a specific area of struggle you would like to overcome or look at from a different angle please include it in your email.  Once I receive the email give me a couple of days before responding.  I’ll send you any information I receive, which you may or may not reply to, however you feel.  Then after about a week I’ll send a follow-up email checking in.  Usually after a reading the receiver will have a couple of “clicks” take place that shift their perception, or something will come into their lives that acts like a tool or catalyst to show a new path or direction.  So we do a little follow-up just to “close” the session.

One note:  I’m not wanting to see people’s actual  numbers, I’m a psychic, not an accountant!  But usually struggles with money aren’t with the money at all.  I can see things from a different point of view.

If you would like to learn more about my abilities and how I read please feel free to check out the About ME page before responding.  I’ll pick two people at random over the next couple of days to receive an Email Reading.  If you would like to be considered, please just leave a comment below, and I’ll email the “winners” back within about 10 days.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

A special thanks to Chris again for making this challenge available to all AONC readers.  If you feel led to give something of value away for free, please take part in the challenge – and leave a comment so I can share it with my readers too.  Here’s the link to the ART OF NON-CONFORMITY challenge: http://chrisguillebeau.com/3×5/help-someone-for-free/

I’m posting this on my other blog as well – www.ifyoucouldseewhatihear.wordpress.com – so if you see this twice, I apologize!  Thanks as always for reading – now get out there and make someone else’s day.  🙂
